Motoryachts Australasia Pty Ltd (ABN 59 654 157 230, "MYA", "we") respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We only collect personal information you choose to give us:
- Enquiries — when you use the enquiry form, email or call us: your name, contact details and the content of your message.
- Event check-ins — when you register at one of our boat show displays or events: your name, mobile number, optionally your email, any comment you leave, and which display you visited.
We do not collect payment details through this website.
How we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to manage boarding at events, and — only where you have opted in — to keep you informed about the yachts you showed interest in and MYA news. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we never use it for purposes unrelated to boating and our services.
Where it is held
Enquiry emails are delivered to our team via a form relay service and our email provider. Event check-ins are stored in the database of this website, which is hosted on managed infrastructure, and are accessible only to authorised MYA staff. We keep event check-in records only as long as they are useful for follow-up, and no longer than 12 months after the event.
Third parties
This site embeds a Google map on the contact page, and our enquiry forms are delivered through a form relay service; those providers receive only the data needed to perform that function. We share personal information with no one else, except where the law requires it.
Access, correction and deletion
You may ask at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — and you can opt out of marketing contact with a single reply. Contact admin@myaa.com.au or call 0499 770 180.
